Fort Calgary - Today, Fort Calgary brings history to life by telling the stories of the Mounted Police site, the settlement and the people of Calgary through dynamic interpretation and exciting exhibits. Interactive and hands-on opportunities are found around every corner!  The site includes the reconstructed 1875 Fort site, an Interpretive Centre with exhibits depicting Calgary from 1875 to the1940s, a replica 1888 Barracks where the Mounted Police story is expanded to1914, The Deane House Historic Site and Restaurant, and a 40 acre riverside park complete with interpretive pathways.

Pioneer Acres -
Recreating memories of times gone by is what Pioneer Acres is all about.  Conveniences that we take for grant today didn't exist in the early 1900's. Appliances like automatic washing machines and clothes dryers are the timesaving replacements for things like scrub boards and outdoor clotheslines. Horses were used to pull farm equipment - not tractors, and even when tractors first arrived in Alberta, they were nothing like the air-conditioned machines that we see today.

Calgary Stampeder Football -  The Calgary Stampeders are a force to reckon with. Enjoy Canadian football at it's best.

Speargrass Golf Course - Only 15 minutes from North Bow Lodge, Speargrass Golf Course is an 18 hole champion length course located on the banks of the Bow River.

Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology - Whether you're interested in Dinosaurs or not this world class museum is a must see.  With lots of participation and hands-on activities it will keep your interest for hours.  Besides the Museum make sure to stop at Horseshoe Canyon.
