Stuart and Michele Wheeler wish to share with their guests the beauty and tranquility of the Bow River basin in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Stuart is a fourth generation farmer in the Dalemead area. With his father, they operate a grain farm. In the summer he enjoys improving his fly-fishing skills and attending local football games. At the Lodge he tends to any BBQing duties which periodically has involved roasting a whole pig. Stu’s favorite winter pastimes are playing hockey and watching NFL football.

Michele has over a decade of experience in the travel and tourism industry. After leaving the management team of a Calgary travel agency Michele now enjoys the day to day operations of the Lodge. In the summer she enjoys attending local football games. In the winter she busies herself quilting.

They have one daughter, Marla. She enjoys playing soccer and jumping on her trampoline in the summer. In the winter months she enjoys school and playing ringette.
